I hope you all had a wonderful holiday weekend, ours was nice and relaxing. We had thought about going out of town but decided against it, travel is fun but sometimes it’s so nice to just be at home for a long holiday weekend.
We had planned to explore some caverns that are a bit south from us yesterday but for some reason I could not sleep on Sunday night (which is very unusual for me); I didn’t fall asleep until almost 4am which meant I slept later than usual so we decided to stay a bit more local and check out Meadowlark Botanical Gardens. It was a bit more humid than we would have liked but all in all it was a lovely day and the gardens were beautiful; so I thought I’d share a few photos that we took.
