Ah so I know it's pretty late in the day but I have been CRAZY busy all week and especially all day today getting ready for my first laLa Grace Art Show; which is tomorrow!
It's a small show but I'm pretty excited about it and of course I'm hoping to sell lots of stuff and meet some cool new folks. I'll share more about how it all goes down next week.
We're also heading into the city again after the art show tomorrow night for dinner and a show withe some friends; should be super fun but that's a lot for one day so I'm planning to relax and veg out with my husband and some movies on Sunday; don't you just love those sort of days, doing stuff is fun but doing nothing is so needed now and then.
I hope you all have a great weekend planned!
Here's a short but sweet list of things I'm loving this week; they're all health related so I guess it's obvious what's been on my brain recently. I know they usually say "Healthy Mind, Healthy Body" but I think more often than the inverse is true; if you make time for a healthy body, your mind is sure to follow.
So speaking of creating a healthy body, this quote really helps inspire me on the days when I feel completely unmotivated to move out of my office chair.
And since exercise is Brussels unless you're also putting good things into your body, I'm totally going to try a version of this recipe next week, but they'll be no goat cheese (obviously) and I need to substitute the butternut squash with something else, just not sure yet. Neither my husband or I are big fans of butternut squash, so maybe zucchini; we'll see. I change almost every recipe I try, my husband always jokes and says "So for you, a recipe is just a starting point." and I'm like "Yeah, making stuff up is half the fun of cooking."
And since we're talking about food, I have to share this Saturday Night Live skit with Justin Timberlake (who's a Vegan) about Veganville; I LOVE it! Be sure to watch until the end, it's the best part but the whole thing is awesome!

Oh my gosh, I had NO idea Justin Timberlake was a vegan! No wonder I liked 'Nsync so much back in the day.... :)
Oh, forgot to say obviously GOOD LUCK at your Art Show! Hope it goes wonderfully! You should be very proud- what an amazing project and undertaking! Congratulations!
Thanks Sharon, the show was okay, I'll share more about it soon.
I think Justin is a more recent Vegan but he's vegan now and that's what counts. :)
